Long Citation (for publication and press release)
Kenneth Neale is a prolific researcher whose work reflects broad interests in a wide range of fields covering solid mechanics, the mechanics of materials, metal forming processes, composite materials, and structural engineering. In mechanics and materials, he has made major original contributions spanning numerous topics such as the large deformation behavior of metals and polymers, structural instability theory, material formability analysis, the modeling of microstructural phenomena, advanced numerical modeling, and the optimization of metal forming processes. In structural engineering he has made pioneering contributions to the development and modeling of innovative rehabilitation technologies using advanced fibre composites.

Short Citation (to be read at the Induction Ceremony)
Kenneth Neale is a prolific researcher whose work reflects broad interests in a wide range of fields covering solid mechanics, the mechanics of materials, metal forming processes, composite materials, and structural engineering. He has made major original and pioneering contributions to both mechanics and materials and structural engineering.
