Brendan MURPHY is a Professor of Earth Sciences at St. Francis Xavier University.
Murphy is best known for his contributions to understanding the supercontinent cycle, one of the most significant scientific developments in Earth Sciences since the discovery of plate tectonics. He has led a wide range of study over his career in an effort to improve understanding of mountain building processes and the long-term history of global environmental change.
