Long Citation
Lewis Kay is internationally recognized as a leader in the development and application of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopic methods for the study of protein structure and dynamics. He has pioneered novel approaches for the study of protein dynamics, developed new isotope labelling methods to facilitate structural studies of large biological complexes, and used innovative methods to examine membrane proteins. His work, published in over 250 papers, has provided insight into the action of many important biological molecules. Dr. Kay is a superb mentor, a generous collaborator and a model citizen of the scientific community.
