Nadia Myre is a member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation and the Canada
Research Chair in Indigenous Arts Practice at Concordia University. An interdisciplinary
artist and educator, Myre considers how Aboriginal presence, worldviews, and
contributions to contemporary society can be foregrounded in the public realm. In the
hope of reconciliation, she asks what stories and histories need to be recollected and
shared to shore our collective memory against the amnestic colonial narrative.

Dr. Mysak has made some notable contributions in the application of mathematical techniques to oceanographic problems. Professor Stanley Nattel is a pioneer in the study of cardiac arrhythmias, using novel approaches based on a detailed understanding of fundamental mechanisms involved in the control of cardiac bioelectricity. His contributions include studies on mechanism of action of antiarrhythmic drugs, basic electrical properties of the human heart, and mechanisms of atrial fibrillation. He has made multiple contributions to signal transduction, cancer cell biology, and mouse models of disease.
