Vihang Errunza is a world renowned finance scholar with a brilliant track record in both theoretical and empirical work. Professor Errunza’s research has influenced generations of thinkers, and improved our understanding of the behavior of international financial markets. His work has led to development of funds that have facilitated cross-border portfolio flows providing risk capital to developing economies and improved performance to investors leading to the enhancement of global welfare. Professor Errunza is widely considered the father of emerging markets research in finance.
