Jennifer Stinson is internationally recognized for her innovations in the field of pediatric digital health. Her work specifically focuses on improving health outcomes in youth with chronic and life-limiting illnesses. She investigates the area of pain and symptom management and the use of e-health and m-health technologies to improve the assessment and management of pain and other symptoms. Dr. Stinson’s clinical work focuses on working with children and youth with chronic pain and their families as part of an interdisciplinary pain team in the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at SickKids.
Jennifer Stinson est reconnue internationalement pour ses innovations dans le domaine de la santé numérique pédiatrique. Ses recherches portent principalement sur l’amélioration des résultats sanitaires chez les jeunes souffrant de douleur chronique et de maladies limitant l’espérance de vie. Ses projets cherchent à explorer la douleur et la gestion des symptômes. Plus spécifiquement, elle développe et examine des outils et applications de santé en ligne pour améliorer l’évaluation et la gestion de la douleur et d’autres symptômes. Comme infirmière praticienne dans une équipe interdisciplinaire du département d’anesthésie et médecine de la douleur à SickKids à Toronto, le Dr. Stinson travaille principalement avec des enfants et des jeunes souffrant de douleur chronique ainsi qu’avec leurs familles.
