Timothy Stockwell is internationally recognized for his contributions to delineating substance use and patterns, calculating costs to health, and researching, and advocating for, prevention and treatment that reduces those costs. He has published over 250 articles, 69 chapters, 8 books, 12 monographs and 97 reports. His research has led to the production of WHO alcohol measurement guidelines, and the introduction of policy in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada.
