A Tier I Canada Research Chair, and leader of a team of primatology researchers, she is an internationally recognized scholar known for three decades of contribution to the study of primate life history, reproduction, socioecology, and conservation. An entire chapter of the extremely influential book Primate Visions was dedicated to the work of Dr. Fedigan.
