Gary Waite is an internationally renowned historian of early-modern Netherlandic and European religion and culture. His numerous publications have shaped scholarly discourse on the Reformation’s radical reformers, on demonizing polemics, demonology and witchcraft, on dissident ideas, and on relations between Muslims, Jews, and Christians. He is currently leading an international team exploring how ideas were formed, contested, and reshaped in the polemical atmosphere of early-modern Europe.
Gary Waite est un historien reconnu sur le plan international spécialisé dans les religions et cultures néerlandaises et européennes du début de l’époque moderne. Ses nombreuses publications ont façonné le discours académique sur les réformistes radicaux de la Réforme, les polémiques de diabolisation, la démonologie et la sorcellerie, les idées dissidentes et les relations entre musulmans, juifs et chrétiens. John William Burbidge, Department of Philosophy, Trent University, is a dedicated educator, a distinguished scholar and an invaluable administrator. For over thirty years he has produced insightful, highly reflective contributions in such diverse fields as the philosophy of religion, the philosophy of history, the philosophy of language, theology and practical reasoning. He is internationally known for his work on Hegel, in recognition of which he was elected in 1988 to the presidency of the Hegel Society of America. His pioneer work on the Hegelian philosophy of chemistry earned him the esteem and gratitude of all other scholars in the area. His work on the philosophy of religion has taken exceptional notice of the relation between Western philosophic thinking and non-Christian religious traditions.

Eminent scholar, teacher, priest and ecclesiastical statesman, Professor Eugene Fairweather has established an international reputation not only as a theologian but also as a leading figure in the world-wide ecumenical movement. His scholarly interests have ranged from scholastic philosophy to Canadian theological history, and as editor of the "Canadian Journal of Theology" he has had a positive influence on religious thought in this country. As a member of the Faith and Order Commission of the World Council of Churches and as a member of the Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission he has brought to bear his profound scholarship on some of the most urgent issues confronting the contemporary Christian Church.

George Galavaris is universally known for his work on East Christian art, distinguished by his mastery of the vast material and the firm method with which he established the close links between artistic endeavour and religious practice.
