On Day 5 of the 2020 Celebration of Excellence and Engagement, the RSC welcomed 87 new RSC Fellows, 50 Members of the RSC College, and also presented 16 awards for outstanding achievement. The ceremonies were uniquely adapted to ensure all new members could participate – whether from home or on campus. The result was a stunning landscape of talent, imagination, discipline and discovery.

Election to the Royal Society of Canada is the highest honour a scholar, scientist or artist can achieve in Canada as it recognizes the outstanding contributions to Canadian intellectual life and to knowledge.
