Yang Shi is a world-renowned scholar, widely recognized for his seminal contributions to networked and distributed control, model predictive control, and cyber-physical systems. His pioneering work has enabled technologies for aerial and marine vehicles, mechatronics and robotics, and industrial automation. He is a Fellow of CAE, EIC, IEEE, ASME, CSME. He served the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society as Vice-President. He is IFAC Council Member and Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics.
Yang Shi, chercheur de renommée mondiale, est largement reconnu pour ses contributions fondamentales aux domaines du contrôle en réseau et distribué, du contrôle prédictif des modèles et des systèmes cyberphysiques. Ses travaux avant-gardistes ont permis la mise au point de diverses technologies pour les véhicules aériens et maritimes, la mécatronique et la robotique, ainsi que l’automatisation industrielle. Il est membre de l’ACG, de l’ICI, de l’IEEE, de l’ASME et de la SCGM. Il a occupé le poste de vice-président de l’Industrial Electronics Society de l’IEEE. Il est membre du conseil de l’IFAC et rédacteur en chef de Transactions on Industrial Electronics de l’IEEE.
