Amar Mohanty is a pioneer in advanced biomaterial science and engineering. His award-winning compostable packaging and ‘green’ automotive parts are commercially adopted in global markets. They have lower greenhouse gas emissions, reduce waste and represent a model for realizing the Circular Economy concept for the next generation of materials.
Amar Mohanty est un pionnier dans le domaine des biomatériaux avancés. Il a consacré sa vie au développement de matériaux biosourcés dans le but de réduire l’impact environnemental des plastiques. Sa vision a déclenché de nombreux changements dans l’industrie, et ses emballages compostables primés et ses pièces automobiles « vertes » ont été largement adoptées par le marché. Cette nouvelle génération de matériaux promeut l’économie circulaire en produisant moins de gaz à effet de serre et de rejets.
