An internationally renowned scholar, Christian Deblock is recognized for his work on the political economy of integration and the internationalization of trade, as well as on U.S. trade policy. His research has contributed to the development of economic institutionalism and has fostered a deeper understanding of the interactions between the economy and institutions in the field of international regionalism. At the same time, he has built several research networks, culminating in the creation of the Centre on Integration and Globalization.
Chercheur de réputation internationale, Christian Deblock est reconnu pour ses travaux en économie politique de l’intégration et l’internationalisation des échanges, et ceux sur la politique commerciale américaine. Ils ont contribué au développement de l’institutionnalisme économique et permis une meilleure compréhension des interactions de l’économie et des institutions dans le domaine du régionalisme international. Parallèlement, il a développé plusieurs réseaux de recherche dont l’aboutissement a été la création du Centre sur l’intégration et la mondialisation, un centre interuniversitaire aussi inspirant que fécond sur l’intégration, le régionalisme et leur rapport à la mondialisation.
