As we begin charting next steps toward global recovery from the pandemic, it is critical that we embrace our interdependence as nations, as well as the interdependence of environmental health and all species including humans. The RSC is hosting a 2022 G7 Research Summit on One Health in Lake Louise, Alberta, from November 21 to 23.

The G7 Research Summit on One Health will begin with a reception in the evening of Monday, November 21. On Tuesday, the three areas of focus will be: a One Health approach to climate change and biodiversity loss, mitigating a planet in crisis; learning from Indigenous relationships with the natural world; and addressing globalization and polarization: towards multilateral One Health solutions for a changing world. Discussions will continue on the morning of November 23, and the summit will conclude over lunch.
