Rianne Mahon is an internationally recognized expert on comparative social policy and gendered global governance whose contributions cover a range of important debates and traverse several disciplines. She has made major contributions to reformulating theories of the state and pioneered research on the OECD along with other international organizations. Through cross-national comparative analysis, she has advanced our understanding of the interaction of local, national and international scales of politics.
Rianne Mahon, spécialiste reconnue à l’échelle internationale dans les domaines de la politique sociale comparative et de la gouvernance genrée mondiale, a apporté sa contribution à plusieurs débats importants et ses travaux couvrent plusieurs disciplines. Elle a participé à la reformulation des théories de l’état et a lancé des études sur l’OCDE et d’autres organisations internationales. Par ses analyses comparatives transnationales, elle a amélioré notre compréhension de l’interaction entre les niveaux politiques locaux, nationaux et internationaux.
