Janusz Pawliszyn’s research focuses on advanced, integrated analytical methods and instruments for on-site monitoring of environmental and living systems. He seeks to perform analyses where the sample is located rather than moving the sample to the laboratory. He has authored over 400 scientific publications and has received numerous prestigious international awards. He currently holds the Canada Research Chair and NSERC Industrial Research Chair in New Analytical Methods and Technologies.
