Alan Evans is a world authority in computational neuroimaging, with 500+ publications and numerous prizes. In 2014, he was recognized in the top 1% of highly-cited international scientists in Neuroscience and Behaviour. He pioneered the use of advanced mathematical and computational techniques to study the brain’s structure and function using neuroimaging, particularly in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disorders. He has built an
international network using a high-performance computing hub at McGill.
