Lisa Saksida has made important theoretical and experimental contributions to understanding the neurobiological basis of cognition. Her collaborative and interdisciplinary approach allows her to span multiple levels of analysis—from molecule to behaviour—to answer fundamental questions about the brain in health and disease, and how the answers to these questions can best be translated, eventually, to the clinic.
Lisa Saksida a apporté des contributions importantes théoriques et expérimentales à notre compréhension des fondements neurobiologiques des processus cognitifs. Son approche collaborative et interdisciplinaire lui permet de couvrir plusieurs niveaux d’analyse - de la molécule au comportement - pour répondre à des questions fondamentales sur le cerveau dans la santé et la maladie et pour mieux traduire en pratique clinique les réponses à ces questions.
