Adelle Blackett is a world-class scholar in labour law, trade regulation and critical approaches to law. A key thinker behind the idea of transnational labour law, she has centred a pluralist, emancipation-focused approach to redressing historical marginalization in the world of work. She has also been recognized for her expert leadership on international treaty making on decent work for domestic workers, human rights monitoring, and labour law reform.
Adelle Blackett est mondialement reconnue pour ses recherches en droit du travail, en régulation du commerce et en approches critiques du droit. Théoricienne de premier plan en droit transnational du travail, elle met en avant une approche pluraliste et centrée sur l’émancipation pour remédier aux marginalisations historiques dans le monde du travail. Elle a aussi été reconnue pour sa participation à la rédaction d’un traité international sur le travail décent des travailleuses et travailleurs domestiques, la surveillance des droits de la personne et la réforme du droit du travail.
