Hongbo Zeng is an internationally recognized leader in intermolecular forces and interfacial science. He has made outstanding contributions to the elucidation of intermolecular and surface interaction mechanisms among soft materials (polymers, biopolymers), colloids, emulsions and bubbles that determine their unique physicochemical properties and performances in various engineering and biological processes, and to the development of new functional materials (self-healing materials, adhesives) and surfaces via tunable intermolecular interactions.
Hongbo Zeng est un leader internationalement reconnu dans le domaine des forces intermoléculaires et de la science interfaciale. Il a apporté des contributions remarquables à l’élucidation des mécanismes d’interaction intermoléculaire et de surface entre matériaux souples (polymères, biopolymères), colloïdes, émulsions et bulles qui déterminent leurs propriétés physicochimiques et leurs performances uniques dans divers processus d’ingénierie et de biologie. Il a également développé de nouveaux Matériaux fonctionnels (matériaux auto-cicatrisants, adhésifs) et de surfaces via des interactions intermoléculaires accordables.
