Katherine R. Larson is an internationally recognized scholar of early modern English literature and culture. Her work has made a vital contribution to our understanding of the history of women’s writing, the gendered dimensions of conversation and language use, and musical-literary relations. Professor Larson is also esteemed for her leadership in fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative work in the humanities. A Rhodes Scholar and the winner of the 2008 Polanyi Prize for Literature, she is Associate Professor of English at the University of Toronto.
Katherine R. Larson est une spécialiste internationalement reconnue pour ses recherches sur la littérature et la culture anglaise au début des temps modernes. Son travail constitue une contribution essentielle à notre compréhension de l’histoire de l’écriture féminine, des dimensions genrées de la conversation et du langage, et des relations musicales et littéraires. Professeure Larson est également reconnue pour son leadership dans la promotion du travail interdisciplinaire et collaboratif en sciences humaines. Titulaire d’une bourse Rhodes et lauréate du prix Polanyi 2008, elle est professeure associée d’anglais à l’Université de Toronto.
