Martha Jackman is a leading Canadian scholar on socio-economic and equality rights. Over more than 25 years of research, litigation, education and advocacy she has advanced the equality rights of women, people living in poverty and other marginalized groups. Her research has served as the central authoritative source for poverty related Charter litigation, bridging the gap between academic research and the broader community.
