The RSC Policy Briefing entitled “The Humanities and Health Policy” is now freely and publicly available here.

“Responding to crises such as pandemics requires deep multidisciplinary collaboration. Along with the science, it is imperative to understand cultures, values, languages, histories, and other determinants of human behaviour. The Humanities are an underused source of cultural and social insight. Humanities knowledge could be better leveraged in such collaboration," said chairs of the Working Group Dr. Esyllt Jones, FRSC, and Dr. Julia M. Wright, FRSC.

The RSC has prepared Policy Briefings and other resources to ensure open access to independent, evidence-based science for Canadians.
