The RSC Policy Briefing entitled “COVID-19 Pandemic: The Impact on Canada’s Intensive Care Units” is now freely and publicly available here.
“This report describes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Canada’s under resourced ICUs, the measures used to provide care and the impact on patients, family and staff. The objective of the report is to provide health authorities and governments with guidance for the future”, said Dr. Noel Gibney, Chair of the Working Group.
The RSC has prepared Policy Briefings and other resources to ensure open access to independent, evidence-based science for Canadians.
