Building on the success of our RSC Dialogues series (previously hosted at Massey College and Université du Québec en Outaouais), we are excited to announce the 2026 series, taking place at Walter House in Ottawa. The Dialogues bring together experts drawn from the RSC membership, to discuss timely and important issues in a causal, bilingual format. The events are open to the public.

RSC Members are invited to submit expressions of interest to serve as a panelist at one of the 2026 RSC Dialogues:

  • April 22: The Arctic, hosted by the Academy of Science
  • May 21: Canada and the World in the Era of Ascending Authoritarianism, hosted by the Academy of Social Sciences
  • Fall (TBD): Mis- and Dis-information, hosted by the RSC College
  • Winter (TBD): Canadian Content, Broadcasting Regulations and Inter-Provincial Commerce hosted by the Academy of Arts and Humanities

If you are interested in participating, please contact events@rsc-src.ca by January 23, 2026, with:

  1. Your area of expertise
  2. A 150-word (max) summary of what you could contribute to the conversation
  3. Your proficiency in English (spoken/understood) and French (spoken/understood)

RSC members are not restricted to expressing interest in the event being hosted by their Academy or College affiliation. English/French bilingualism is an asset but not a requirement.
