Yves Bergeron is a professor of Forest Ecology at the UQAM and at the UQAT. Dr. Bergeron holds the NSERC/UQAT/UQAM Industrial Chair and the Canadian Research Chair in Ecology and Sustainable Forest Management, and he is known internationally for the exceptional quality of his research on boreal forest. He received numerous awards and has been a member of the Royal Society of Canada since 2010.
