David Bakhurst has made an unprecedented contribution to our understanding of 20th Century Russian thought, and is known also for his writings on ethics, philosophical psychology, and philosophy of education. His work – widely published and translated – is highly interdisciplinary and shows remarkable versatility and creativity. Bakhurst, who holds the Charlton Professorship at Queen’s, is a former visiting fellow of All Souls College, Oxford.
David Bakhurst a apporté une contribution sans précédent à la compréhension de la pensée russe du 20ème siècle et est aussi connu pour ses écrits sur l’éthique, la psychologie philosophique et la philosophie de l’éducation. Son œuvre, largement publiée et traduite, est grandement interdisciplinaire et fait preuve d’une remarquable polyvalence et d’une grande créativité. David Bakhurst, titulaire de la chaire Charlton à Queen's University, est un ancien chercheur invité du All Souls College, Oxford.
