Jacques Lévesque, FRSC, of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) will review the achievements and limits of Moscow’s endeavors in theses arenas and their prospects for the future. On this basis he will also assess the opportunities and constraints for the “new beginnings” of US relations with Russia, as sought by the Obama Administration in a lecture titled "Russia's Search for a new Place in the World Order (1992-2012)."

Dalhousie University held a very successful Open Academy event. The event was comprised of a special performance of 2b theatre company’s original medical drama The Story of Mr. Wright and a post-show panel discussion with a member of the creative team and two academic experts.
