2011 Governor General Lecture Series: Are we the people we need to be? Early human development and the challenges of the 21st century

Wednesday, March 23, 2011
Lakehead University

For two vital 21st Century challenges -- supporting the earliest stages of human development and shrinking our ecological footprint -- there is a huge gap between what Canadians know and what we, as a society, are doing about it. Dr. Clyde Hertzman, FRSC, of the University of Toronto, will make the case for the significance of these twin challenges and explore the barriers in Canadian society that need to be overcome in order to meet them.
