The Society is happy to announce that after an extensive review process by the IAP: global academies of science, four Canadian researchers have been selected to represent the RSC at the IAP Young Scientists event held in conjunction with the 2015 World Science Forum. The four scholars representing the Society are: Prof. Simon Barnabé, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières; Prof. Kai Chan, University of British Columbia; Prof. Damon Mathews, Concordia University and Ma’n H. Zawati, Ph. D. candidate, McGill University.
This year the World Science Forum will explore the theme “Scoping the future: views and ideas of young scientists to tackle global challenges” and will take place in Budapest, Hungary on November 4-7. We invite you to peruse the official World Science Forum program here.
