ALTERNATIVE OPTION: INTER-LIBRARY LOANS
If you would prefer to borrow a particular volume from the University of Calgary or The University of British Columbia, this can be arranged through an Inter-Library Loan with any library or institution that has the technology to read microfilms.
The University of British Columbia (UBC)
The University of British Columbia has series 3 to 6 of the RSC Transactions and Proceedings, from 1944 to 2000. The microfilms are available for Inter-Library Loan in both English and French.
The University of Calgary (U of C)
The University of Calgary has volumes of RSC Transactions and Proceedings in microfilm format, from 1882 to 2000. They will not loan volumes beginning with the call number FC 51 .C3496 as these files are part of the university’s Canadian Institute for Historical Micro-reproductions (CIHM) collection and are heavily used. The microfilms are only available in English.
Follow the steps below to access a copy of RSC microfilms. Please note that the documents are only available for use at the library, and for a specified period of time.
